Working with AF 100 shot at 60fps … ISSUES!
Hi all. I’m cutting a small project and there were a lot of freebies done on this one. So none of us including the DP has ever worked with the AF 100. They shot 1080 at 23.98. All that is fine. There are some shots done at 60fps and this is the problem. Through the log and transfer process in fcp it imports the 60 clips as 29.97. Does any one know the proper work flow to get the slow mo right?

Hey Noah, the problem actually occurs before even cutting into the time line. The clips that were shot at 60 fps when imported are now 29.97 when you look at their frame rate. There mostly likely was a mis cue on set im just trying to rule everything out on my end. If no one else is having issues in FCP7 and using log and transfer to import these clips properly then I do think some thing went wrong on set. As far as I can tell this should be a simple import. Would it screw anything up if 2 different frame rates were on the same card for import?

looks like the 60fps shots are 29.97. FCP wouldn’t change the frame rate during log and transfer.
