working in HDV in FCP studio2
I recently updated my FCP software to Studio 2 and have been working on an HDV project.
admittedly this is the first project i have attempted on studio 2 so it may not be solely to do with the HDV codec.
anyway i find that intermittently through working FCP just crashes for no apparent reason. FCP never used to crash but it has on me today about 15-20 times. I have restarted the computer multiple times and tried to decipher the error report to no avail.
It doesn’t seem to have any pattern and can happen at any time.
Any ideas? -

Have you tried trashing the FCP prefs?
