is it possible to bring AE files created on a Mac to a pc? or vice versa? i tried and didn’t work, but just wanted to know if there is a way to work around it.

    any thoughts will help.

hmm…that sounds to me that AE is perfectly compatible between a mac and a pc which in my case was not. let me go home and try opening it one more time and will check the version again.
    thanks!

    The answer is “yes.”
I have worked on a Mac with files originally created on a PC.

Adobe made extra sure that mac7 and pc 7 after effects would be fully compatible. Just make sure that your CD-R is. iso-9660 works for both pc and mac drives.
