  Workflow Sony Z7 with 24p

  Hi all,

  I have a question about workflow, i think.

  We’ll be shooting a comercial with the Sony Z7, recording on the CF on 24p HDV 1080i (i think, that part is not confirmed 100% yet), this footage will be “turned” into 30fps for TV.

  So, my questions start here:

  1) What would be the workflow for this camera to work with FCP?, haven’t seen one before i’m just starting to read about it

  2) If we are shooting 24p, how do i make it 30? (is that the advance removal pulldown? how does that work in FCP)

  3) It seems like they’ll be shooting some slow-mo (6ofps or 48 if that’s possible with the camera) How do i handle this footage at the moment of importing and in the timeline since the other stuff will be at 30.

  4) What will be my timeline settings?

  Sorry if the terms are misused or vague not quite sure about the technicals of these numbers.

  2X2.8 GHZ QUAD CORE INTEL XEON
  4GB RAM
