workflow question
Hi.
I’m considering to go with mac.
Today i was playing with FCP studio at resellers.Usually i have workflow with a client who makes
offline with theyr simple avid system which gives
out EDL and OMF.I could open each of them one in FCP and the other in Soundtrack.
It all seemd fine but what i did not get working was that
FCP had audio as Soundtrack project (linked between two applications).My question is: can i combine FCP with imported EDL so that the OMF
audio is usable trough Soundtrack and if i can see audio in FCP
as on audio block or as separate peaces as in Soundtrack.—

Why not send your audio to STP from FCP so you have the linking function there? Seems like it would simplify your workflow.

What i did not get was can i send imported omf content from STP to FCP to use as linked parts?
