Most of the time, I edit/ retouch colors (among other things) in After Effects, render the clips and then put them all together in Premiere Pro. Does this make my clips lose resolution before it gets to Premiere Pro?

Also which is better, retouch the clips one at a time and assemble them in Premiere OR assemble in Premiere, render it into one big clip, and retouch in After Effects?

Final question: if I render in Premiere and turned on deinterlace (so editing in After Effects is easier), will that make the clips lose resolution? You may notice that my main concern in all of these questions is trying not to lose resolution or picture quality. Thanks!
