Workflow for stretching audio
Hello,
i have to stretch my Videofiles for round about 5% to fit in my prescribed timeslot. Videostreching in Premiere works fine and the results are satisfying. BUT the audiostretching results are terrible. Robotic voice with lots of Artefacts. I try to stretch the Audiofiles in Audition but the results are baddish too. How do you stretch and pitch your Audio ? Any Tips ? 😉
The Audiofile I have to edit are Stereo mixdowns (Music/Atmo/Voice/etc)

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to stretch the full mix. You should be working with the separate tracks, Music, Ambient, and Voice. My guess would be the artifacting and robotic sounding voice is due to the mix being used. You can’t properly isolate each piece and optimize your setting for the portion of the audio spectrum you’re working on. Ideally you want to record your voice to fit the allotted time as well, but that doesn’t always happen.
