workflow for cs5
I downloaded the trial version of premiere cs5 and I’m wondering what the workflow should be now that I shouldn’t have to use a conversion software like main concepts to be able to put footage into premiere.
I am using the sony pmw-ex1 camera and want to put the footage in premiere cs5 on my macbook pro. But premiere is only recognizing the footage as an audio. I have no trouble seeing the footage in the Sony XDcam transfer tool. But I cant even get the full footage that way. Help?

Unfortunately, because of licensing, CS5 Trial does not support all of the formats that CS5 Full does. That you are using the trial may be the source of your issue.
