I was wondering if anybody has a suggestion on a workflow for creating art that is used both for Print (CMYK) and Screen (RGB)?

I have been making images in Illustrator, then bringing them in to Photoshop to finalize and add texture.

If I want to have both RGB and CMYK version of these files, do I just need to have them in two different files? If I use an Illustrator file that is CMYK, and nest it in a Photoshop file that is RGB, will that mess up my colors?

Also- if I am using an Illustrator file as a smart object in Photoshop, can I scale still as a vector image?

Any help on a workflow and file management system would be helpful.
