Workflow for best graphics for SD DVD output
I’m working on a PAL SD DVD, fairly short, and mainly shot DVcam.
There will be a lot of graphics and animations and I was wondering what the best workflow would be for this in Vegas(7)
In FCP and Liquid I’d first cut in a sequence with DV settings then change to uncompressed to add the graphics and text. Exporting that to m2v for the DVD.
As I’m new to Vegas is this still the best way to approach this as I’m sure putting the animation renders in a DV sequence is not optimal.
Also what settings do I render the animations to. palDV is lower field dominant, but PAL uncompressed is upper? Previously I’ve rendered to square pixel 768×576 upper field, and put this in the uncompressed sequence.
What’s my best bet here guys please?
