  Workflow for AVI or MPEG with Timecode

  I’m wanting to synchronize .scc closed captioning files with an Encore timeline. Our editing system is Avid MC Adrenaline. My normal workflow is to create qt reference movies for Sorensen to crunch into an MPEG2 elementary stream, and it works just fine, but the original timecode is lost. So, to use this feature, how does one preserve smpte timecode when creating MPEG (or AVI) streams?
