    Hi there!!

I Have to edit footage from Digibeta PAL 8bits 4:2:2.
its not so many footage so I´m thinking to work online with the material on media composer 4.0.2 on a macbookpro 2.3Ghz, 2.0GBRAM.

What´s the best workflow and settings,

capture the material without compression 1:1
    with RGB levels
    edit
export as RGB levels without compression 1:1 .mov or image TIFF sequence?
    Delivery that to color grade

    Thanks for the time!!!

Skip the RGB levels, you’ll only be clipping your original footage, and it will be less apt for color correction. Stay in 601, that’s where digital video lives.

Just export same-as-source QT for color correction and provide them with the Avid codec.

Any conversion to RGB (for web delivery) should be done AFTER the color grading, never before it.

    Ok!!
Seems pretty right to skip the RGB levels.

The color correction will be done in Apple color,
so it´s correct to do it 1:1 no compression with an avid codec.

    Does color open this file?

    Thanks a lot!!
    Cheers!!

No. You will need to convert that to ProRes. Color doesn’t read any Avid codecs.
