    I’m not sure if I’ve placed this in the right forum room so feel free to redirect me…

    If you had a one man shop and you’re responsible for content storage, ease of access, access speed and you had limited funds, how would you set up workflow?
    (I’m hoping to set something up that will allow me to involve another editor in time and that is expandable in terms of storage space)

    Here’s some details about my work environment that may help you answer the above…
    I’m the only editing/graphics guy at our company. We’re a politically centered non-profit. I end up taking TONS of footage of stuff we will never use and have to keep it (we’re right at 1 TB for about 10 months of work’s raw footage [HD]). I’m running low on storage space, plus Premiere and AE seam to be chugging along because of hard drive speed and network transfer issues. I’ve got good IT support and we’re set up the best way we can with what we have (I believe).
