I’m researching an HD camera purchase -something in the $2,000-$4,000 range. I’ve been diligently reading thru archived forums and viewing tutorials, but still need need assistance in 2 areas:

WORKFLOW – What to look for (or avoid) in video format.
Specifically – what works well /best with FCP? I know I should bring footage in as an editing codec, such as Pro Res 422 or 422 LT – but I want to avoid problems getting it into FCP. (Currently working with FCP 6.06 and may be for awhile)

CMOS or CCD? I like everything I’m reading about how well some of the CMOS chips work in low light levels – but I’m concerned about what I’m hearing about them regarding moving subjects and camera moves.

Most of my work is corporate/industrial video that goes to the web and DVD.

    Thanks!
