I am cutting a spot that was shot on 35mm. In my FCP timeline I can see what appears to be a problem with the pulldown pattern.

This project is being finished on a flame with telecine transferred selects.

I want to set up my online guys with perfect EDL’s.

What is the best practice workflow?

    Thanks

Telecined to…? What format? What format will you be delivering?

I have worked on TV shows that were shot on 35mm and telecined to Digibeta…so there was the 3:2 pulldown cadence. But, that is perfectly normal when you transfer 24fps to 30 fps…and since we were delivering a digibeta master, it was all fine.

But you need to give us details of your workflow and delivery needs if you want specific answers.
