Worker Node Task Failures
We are trying out CatDV Pro Server for Workgroups and I’m having a problem with the Worker Node.
I have setup a couple different tasks for the Worker Node to perform but the “Helper” will not start.
Here is the email report I recieved from the CatDV Server:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Helper process not ready
This may indicate that the CatDV Server is not running or is not configured properly. Please check the server and restart the worker thread as required.
Any ideas?

I’m not installed Workgroup in a few years but I’ll shoot you a couple of thoughts.
Do you have your credentials in the Worker config? The Worker must be able to log into the server process in order to perform server queries and server based actions.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the Worker node is connected to the server. I selected the button “Re-Connect” and it connected just fine.

If you could click on View Log and then Save Log Files and send the resultant ZIP file to support at squarebox dot com we’ll take a look.
