Worker Node Stuck Retrying Failed Files
Hey CatDV Forum,
Thanks for your help in advance, first time poster and new to CatDV.
I’ve got three media clips that fail in the Worker Node every time and I can’t get it to stop trying. Every 15 minutes 3 new red tasks get added to the Worker. I’ve deleted the original files it’s trying to process but it keeps trying. I’m guessing there’s some deposit for failed tasks but I haven’t found that anywhere. At this point the shows are finished and I’ve just been ignoring it cause it doesn’t hurt anything except my ego.
Any suggestions?

Jacob, no shame in that game. 😉
If the task is watch folder, then getting rid of the file should do it. If it’s a server query, then getting rid of the file won’t stop it, if the clip is still in CatDV (clip vs. media.)
You can double click on the action in the list to see what the error is, but check and see if it’s a watch folder (triggered by “file”) or a server query. I suspect you have a server query that you deleted media for but not the clip record in the db/catalog.
