  WORKER: H elper Process Died – Extracting Thumbnails – Mac OS 10.9.5 / Worker 5

  Hello Everybody,

  I became a Worker Job failed. The job crashes by trying to extract thumbnails for publishing to a catalog. Every time I became a status „Helper process died”.

  The Job successes if I disable the Thumbnail option on Import.

  My Setup:

  Mac OS 10.9.5
  Java 8 u25
  JavaVM 14.9.0
  CatDV Worker 5.1.2 (also 5.0.8 failures)

  It works on another setup:

  Mac OS 10.6.8 Server
  JavaVM 13.9.3
  CatDV Worker 5.0.8

  I also tried…
  – different video formats.
  – Repair Permissions
  – Restart
  – Worker 5.0.8
  – Updating Java to v8

  Any Idea what I can try else?
