I made a work path of this logo in .png form and some of the lines came out smooth, but a lot of lines came out choppy and I’m unable to use the work path. Why is this happening?
Please keep in mind this is not a TEXT extrude, this is a work path made from a logo. (I can’t recreate using text in Cinema 4D because it includes a heart-shaped logo in the text, and the heart came out choppy.)

    Thanks for any help everyone!

looks like a spline made with Live Trace in Illustrator (or something like that). Which if set really tight gives you the pixels of the original image. The only way to do it cleanly is to trace it by hand (or maybe have a much bigger image to trace that one looks like the pixels were pretty large)

I have run into this many times and my first approach is to scale up the artwork in Illustrator and then maybe play with the pixel settings in PS to get a clean result. This usually fixes the problem but if not, as Brian said, you need to redraw yourself.

With that said, with text, I have often contacted my clients to find out the actual font(s) used so I can just build within C4D, skipping AI and PS altogether.
