work off a network drive
Is there a way I can save my davinci project to a drive on my network, so I can open the project on different computers on the same network, without needing to export the project and reopen on the other computer?

This is exactly the process used with the full version of Resolve and the PostGres shared database.You can even use a database server to manage all the projects. Details in the config guides and manual.
