I would really appreciate anyone who could help me with a work flow issue I have.

I am rendering out of ae wide screen (progressive animation)to the QT animation codec (which is probably overkill).

I am then importing into premier (progressive sequence and conforming media to wide screen) and the encoding widescreen (progressive) at a high bit rate.

When I view the encoded file then the horizontal lines are jagged – is there anyway to solve this… PLEASE HELP!

I am putting this on the AE & premier forums just incase I am doing something wrong on any of the programs.

It sounds like you are working in an SD resolution which means the frame size is not native 16:9. It’s because of the widescreen stretching from an anamorphic 4:3 frame to a 16:9 frame the pixels become jaggy. It’s not a ‘problem’ that’s how it is. This won’t look like this on a TV. Only your computer monitor will show the ugly truth about DVD.
