work flow between Final Cut Pro and Digidesign Pro-tools
Can anyone give me any ideas about a workflow between FCP 5 and Pro tools 6.9.2 which would allow me to update the actual tracks in my pro-tools session through the export of some kind of EDL from final cut. Additionally any workflow ideas would be much appreciated.

theres a very good tutorial, written by Larry Jordan, on using the OMF export from fcp.
i believe it on Ken Stones excellent website at https://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/basic_export_using_omf_jordan.html
its well worth the read.alternatively you can look to http://www.automaticduck.com for their Pro Export FCP 3.0 plug-in, a costly, but more fully featured omf export function

Are you referring to change lists?
There is software such as XML Pro from Gallery that can do this. https://www.gallery.co.uk/
Also, i think Synchrp Arts Titan has a conform mode.
Embedded OMF makes it tough to make changes so it’s not always the best option for exporting audio out of FCP.
