Is there a way to set up the work area duration for 2 renders of the same comp? I have a comp i only need to render 2 separate 1 second sections from it. I can set up the 1st 1 second section with the work area duration bar. But the 2nd 1 second section I have to set the time manually in the render settings. Is that the only way to do this?
    Thanks
    Brian

Not directly — but there are a couple scripts you could use.

https://www.crgreen.com/aescripts/ (look for Queue Comp Sections)

ALSO, if you click on the render setting (i.e. “best settings”) you can specify the specific frames you want to render.

Set the TIME SPAN to CUSTOM

In the above example, the first frame is set to frame 50, and the last one to frame 100, irrespective of the work area setting.
