There were a few things I had to do to make this happen.
The first was to add an extra letter on the end of the word so the cursor has one more space to go. Otherwise, the cursor just disappears.
Second, I changed the cursor blink to 10 instead of 8. You might have to adjust this further. 10 is what worked for me.
I then found the end of the build(right before my final letter appeared) and set a new keyframe there for the Type On slider. I Paged Up a few frames so the cursor disappeared and set another keyframe.
Finally, I added the following expression to the Type On slider.
loopOut(“Cycle”,1)
The loopOut() expression will look at your keyframes and do some sort of looping. “Cycle” means go back to the beginning (or the specified keyframe) and repeat the animation.
Putting a 1 in the last place there tells the loopOut() expression to count one frame back from the last keyframe and use that as the start of the loop.
