I’m using the “word processor” text-in animation preset, under ‘multi-line’. It’s working fine, but I want to change the look of the underscore cursor. I want to change the underscore cursor to the vertical bar located on the same key as the backslash.

To this “|” instead of this “_”.

I think it might be changing depending on which character is revealed. I found that if I set the [Character Value] to 124 the cursor starts as a “|” and ends as a “|”, but during the reveal it changes to random characters.

I cannot get the cursor to stay a “|”. Any ideas?

Here is the text I am using.

“ADHD is one of the most commonly diagnosed behavioral disorders of children.”

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Okay, I have it working now. Not exactly sure what was causing the random characters as the text was revealed. All I did was delete the effect, reapply the effect, and then change the Character Value to 124. Now it works perfectly.

I’m assuming I must have changed a setting somewhere in the preset. Not sure which one. Sorry for the pointless post.
