Yea that was another thing I was looking for, but I am specifically looking how to make the line a film scratch like they did in the video.

if you want to make the line look ‘rougher’ try roughen edges.

since the line is pretty thin, you’ll need to reduce the default ‘border’ setting, but playing around with the edge type, fractal influence, scale and complexity should start to get you close.
