Won’t Display Video Content (Compound Clip)
So, I’ve got a 4 hour training video w various segments. Each segment I’ve edited individually and created a compound clip of the video so that I could later take each compound clip, lay them side by side in a primary timeline, and allow it all to play that way.
Project was done but producer wanted some changes. So, I am making the changes, but I’m on the second segment and I extended it by about 2 minutes. The footage is all there, but when I go to the main timeline, the last two minutes are now black on the thumbnail reference from the timeline and when the playhead gets to that point it just cuts off. If I open the compound clip, everything looks good.
What’s up with that?

Apparently a good old fashioned “restart” of FCPX fixes it. 😛 At least this time.
