WMV Skip In Premiere
When I input a WMV file into premiere and even preview it it is skipping in parts. I have adjusted the screen size settings and frame rate to match current clip and have selected “video for windows” on the new project setup screen. Am I forgeting something?? The clip does not skip if played in windows media player, why does it skip in Premiere and how can I fix it??

Premiere real time preview feature only works well with DV or rendered preview files (also DV) from other formats. The red line over your wmv in the timeline indicates that it needs to be rendered to give a REAL preview…just hit the Enter key and wait.
