I’m trying to output WMV’s via compressor but every time I try I’m informed that a 30 min segment is going to take “Unknown amount of time remaining”.

Could it be something involving CBR’s and VBR’s?

What other information can I furnish to make this a reality and a decent quality, please?

I have the same problem when I try exporting from QuickTime Pro, btw.

    Thanks

I think you need ‘Flip4Mac’ to export from Quicktime to WMV. It’s a pretty cheap, downloadable plug in for QT.

    Thanks Vince,

I have F4MHD Studio but I think I’ve found the answer here. It would appear that even in the latest version of F4M the plist files can corrupt and so deleting them and restarting has seemed to sort things out.

    Thanks again,
