Does anyone know how I can convert a .wmv file to QT for use inn FCP? or how I can recored the piece while it’s playing?

Price for the pro version that allows conversion is $49 US.
For recording off of the screen I like Snapz Pro X…. https://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/
Price is $69 US for the version to record in QT format
