WMV file
i have just captured a full cassete in windows movie maker…i got WMV file.
what can be the reason that premiere pro 2 cant import this file?
it becomes “not responding”
the WMV file size 550 MB

Let it go for a while, by that I mean a half hour. Adobe does mention this issue in their help file and simply recommends waiting for the file to be processed.

Usually, Premiere Pro doesn’t like compressed files, such as WMV. If it doesn’t import after a while, try converting the file to another format, such as AVI and then see if that helps.
