I’m not sure if this is the best place to post this but I know someone in this part of the forum will have an answer.

I have a wmv file that I need to convert to something my Macbook Pro will accept. I have Flip4Mac but it doesn’t seem to be working and the newest version won’t download. I get an error message. MPEG Streamclip won’t recognize it and Handbrake won’t either. I have tried versions 9.2, 9.3, and 9.4 of Handbrake. On Windows, Windows Media Player is the only thing that opens it. Quicktime, Handbrake, and MPEG Streamclip for windows don’t work.

Thanks for any suggestions or solutions.

If you paid for Flip4mac you’re entitled to a working update and they will help you if you contact them. That’s your best bet on the Mac side. On the windows side, if it doesn’t open in Windiws Media Player you’ve got some other issue.
