WMV exports – Streamclip, Wondershare, Compressor, other?
Hello CCers —
Does anyone have a strong opinion on the best program for converting master video files (coming out of Premiere) to WMV for delivery? I’ve tried Wondershare Converter, Media Encoder, Compressor and MPEG Streamclip (with Flip4Mac installed) and I haven’t found a clear winner, though so far AME has produced the worst results. We’re trying to decide what program to buy multiple licenses of and I’d like more info. Any thoughts, experiences, rants, etc are welcome.

I’ve found MPEG Streamclip to be the best all-rounder, as unprofessional as it might look. It handles batches well, it’s fast, and the codec support is incredible. It works on both Windows and Mac, so that’s great too.

Take a look at Expression Encoder 4 if using a Windows system.
