  WMV exports from Media Encoder are milky – why?

  Hi guys,

  I have been exporting some rushes for a client to look at, and they are considerably more milky than the originals, almost as if I had lifted the black levels by quite a bit…

  The files in PP were XDCAM EX, and they each had Magic Bullet Looks applied. I did not test to see if this would have happened if I had applied colour correction instead of the Looks plugin. Also no test was done on other codecs, h.264 etc…

  Anyone seen this/know how to avoid it?
