WMV Export Problems From Xpress Pro
I am using Avid Xpress Pro 4.5.1 on a HP Pavilion Laptop Windows XP Service Pack 2 Windows Media Player Version 10.00.00.3546. Until a couple of weeks ago I was able to export Windows Media files with no problems. Recently what I get, no matter what the setting, I get a picture that looks as though it was scrambled by a cable box. The audio is ok. We use this tool, like most people, to send a proof via email to clients for review. I am currently exporting a MOV and then using the free Windows Media Encoder to get a WMV file, but I would rather not have an extra step. Has anyone had this same problem. This is also occuring on another CPU we have with the same software configuration.
As fas as I know nothing has been updated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you find a solution to this problem? I just started having the same problem this week, out of the blue. Also, when I try exporting using the 320×240 WMV preset, the audio gets distorted, and it sounds like The Chipmunks. Everything worked fine until this week.
