I have 12 series tv show shot on red at 2k and working at quarter res. Each time before I render I have to skip to config menu, change debayer settings, apply it and after those steps proceed with render, not to mention saving the project before rendering. After render is complete I have to go back to config and change the things back to quarter res. It would be nice to have an extra setting at the render window, which will save a lot of time.

Also I’ve noticed that each time I change debayer resolution – davinci starts rebuilding timeline shot icons and maybe something else, because if I’m not very quick in pressing render button – my system goes into some kind of meditation, showing me rotating color wheel instead of mouse arrow. (Is it because I have 12 parts in one project?)

    I totally second this.
I even would go so far and ask for a dedicated render setting and a playback setting.
In Maye you have stuff like that and it helps working in low res and rendering in highres without switching things manually.
And of course masks and stuff should scale accordingly

    A slice of color…
