Wire/Rig Removal and Motion Tracking
Hey All,
Here’s the deal: I have some footage where a C-stand is visible in the reflection of a window. The actor stands to the right of it, walks past it, then turns around and walks back. The camera pans with him, and is on a shoulder mount and therefore a bit shaky.
By using the Wire/Rig removal with the “stitch” option, messing with the feathering and opacity has yielded what I’d say are acceptable results for concealing the C-stand without jumping out as being effected. I’m using 5 separate Wire/Rig effects to get base rod and the supporting leg.
My problem is that I’ve only got this on one frame, and I don’t want to keyframe each frame and reposition all 5 effects throughout the clip (it’s not that long, so this is possible, but i know there is a more clever way!).
I can’t really track two points throughout the entire clip, but with a couple motion trackers I can map the camera movement. My question is: how do I write an expression in the Wire/Rig effect (recall this has two position vectors, one for the beginning of the line, and one for the end) so that it copies the change in movement of the null object that holds the tracker data?
I know this has probably been answered before but I couldn’t figure out a way to phrase it where I could find what I need.
Thanks for your help
