Working here with the Logitech Performance MX rodent. Prior to that I’ve used a Logitech back to version VP9.
Could be you have a USB conflict. Check your Device Manager for any pesky RED ! exclamation marks.

December 23, 2011 at 1:24 pmAny software running on your computer has absolutely no idea what type of mouse you have. That is entirely hidden from applications by your computer’s operating system. You should check your mouse drivers and find out why Windows cannot track your wireless mouse properly. This has nothing to do with Vegas or any other application running on your computer. It just may be that the precision that you require when working with Vegas has brought this problem to your attention but the problem is between Windows and the mouse driver.
Like Graham, I use a wireless Logitech mouse with Vegas all the time. No issues at all.

I never had any issues with Vegas and I realy like the program.
I checked all drivers and found no problems, but after i switched over to the wire mouse It’s working great.
Both my HP’s were doi’n the samething.

Understood. it can be very frustrating when you have to fight your computer to get work done. I’ve been there and done that. 😉

December 24, 2011 at 8:03 amVegas has some instability issues with mouse drivers that have programmable buttons (some wacom tablets as an example.) The fix was an odd one but it makes a small bit of sense. If you uncheck “Enable Joystick Support” in the preferences (general) tab it might clear up your specific mouse issues. Then again it might not.
