Is there a dual person wireless lav mic setup that does stereo? I used a Sarmonic brand over the weekend it was nice, it is mono…..I was curious if there was a brand where both wireless could be stereo instead of mono…

The mic would have to have two mics to work.

I’ve seen dual pickup mics and not sure why it’s even necessary. People’s voices come from one location, their mouth.

Stereo comes from the environment, music, etc.

Frankly I don’t see a need for a stereo vocal mic.

using a sony stereo lav is up to you, but most people aren’t used to hearing one voice in the left ear and another in the right ear unless you want that ‘standing in the middle of a conversation’ feeling. but it doesn’t work well in large separation playback like in a car which produces a sudden drop off. also, if you have simultaneous mic bleed and movement around the other mic, you can get phasing issues. i recommend mono for vocal recording. its simple, less prone to errors, and you can easier mix in post.
