I recently bought a new iMac that came with a wireless keyboard. I then bought a 3rd party wireless
keypad so I could do numeric trims the way I used to on my old wired keyboard that has the keypad built in.
But when I type in a trim on the wireless keypad, i.e. -25 frames, I see the -25 appear as it usually does, but
nothing happens when I hit enter. It works fine when I type in a number to move the playhead to a different part of the timeline. I also opened my old FCP 7, and it works perfectly in there.
    Does anyone have any thoughts?
    Thanks!

So the wireless keypad does not have a separate numeric keypad? you’re using the number keys above the QWERTY keyboard? I think this was a known issue on Avid, which is why a lot of people opted to buy full keyboards with numeric keypad.
