    Hello,

I need to film a live music performance and stream it over the internet. But I want to be able to move around the concert hall freely without being plugged into the computer that is streaming the feed. Is this possible? Is there a wireless transmitter on the market that will send the signal from my camera to the computer and then out to the web?

    Thanks!

I was hoping to see some other posts and get some new ideas too. I have used this RadioShack product in the past with good results. It was a small auditorium (seats about 350) and I transmitted a small DV cam from onstage to the back into the tech room which then provided imag. For internet broadcast, I think that the quality would be good enough (it even has S-Video).

I personally would like to find a product with a little better quality, shoot about 300-400 feet and still relatively cheap (under $500).

Telestream is looking at better IP camera support. It won’t work for roving cameras well (want to walk around with an IP camera?) but I can see the potential for some very good PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) remote controlled cameras.
