  Wired Mic for Panasonic HCX-1000

  Hello Everyone..!

  I have a Panasonic HCX – 1000 camera, currently I have Shure FP15 wireless set with Shure WL184 mic. I shoot maths classes, but the problem is the FP15 runs on batteries and there is no alert or anything for me to know when the battery runs out. And a lot of clips goes wasted with no audio. So I’m looking for a wired mic option.

  I shoot the classes in my room where the camera is 6 feet away from me. I have to avoid the outside noise as well, that is outside my room, there is a busy road outside my room and the room is in ground floor.

  I just have camera and the mic. So any suggestion for a good wired mic would be of great help..!! Also do I need any preamp or any audio mixer ?
