    Howdy cow!
I work on a projects where I have to remove lots of wires. Some actors are standing on a clif, and I have to remove their security ropes.

I should wish that we could afford a Mokey licence – but we cant afford one on this project.

Can anyone recommend me some usefull pluggins, techniques or other applications ?

If the length of the shot isn’t too bad, you can always healing-tool it frame by frame in photoshop, which is really not as bad as it sounds with PS’s animation features these days, and is the best quality way of doing it anyways, and free.

AE includes simple wire removal from cycore.
It’s called SIMPLE for a reason.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

ok – thanks, I´ve tried this – but I´m not quite happy with the result.
Does anyone know about a more sophisticated pluggin for wire removal ?

Hit toolfarm and search for wire removal to see if anyone has another plug on the market.
The problem with wire removal, generally, is it’s a pixel by pixel, frame by frame operation. Emulation of Photoshop’s Clone stamp and Mend/Patch stamps are the basic tools.
Please let us know if you find a better solution.
