I’ve noticed since the 5.4 and now the 5.5 BMD WindowsXP drivers, whether using PP2.0 of 1.5, I lose audio playback sometimes. The solution is quite simple actually, just minimize Premiere Pro and then maximize again and the audio comes back. It’s just a bit annoying sometimes when I have clients and i’m getting ready to playback my edit and then upon playback no audio comes out and i have to momentarily stop the playback and do a quick minimize-maximize to get the audio playback again. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks

    My specs are:
    Tyan Dual Xeon
    Decklink Extreme
    PPro 1.5/2.0
    BMD drivers 5.4.2/5.5

    Hy

    yes same thing….

It seems to be a problem beetween sound card detection.

Look that your decklink is not selected as default sound card in multimedia setting of windows, close after…

There might be sometimes a conflict of using device audio.

    Maybe this could help.

    Regards.
