    Hi,

I’ve noticed today that the “QuickTime 7 Public Preview” for Windows is currently available for download from Apple website. I’ve still got some unsolvable issues in After Effects using Deckling HD Pro card for RAM preview (read this thread https://www.creativecow.net/forum/view_thread.php?threadid=837299&forumid=124&postid=111717640515503) and I think it could be caused by some hidden QuickTime bug. So I’d like to try it but I’ve reinstalled system for several times and I’d like to know if this version is safe and working with Deckling cards.
    Has anybody already tried it?

    Thanks for any advice

I’ve installed QT7 Preview on our BM box (running 4.8.0 drivers & PPro 1.5) and it seems to work okay. (I’ve managed to render a H.264 stream from apple into the PPro timeline.)

Of course, this is no guarantee it will work for you!
