Windows Media Encoder Studio Edition Beta 1 is live!
Hey everybody!
Beta 1 of our new Windows Media Encoder Studio Edition is now live! It demonstrates advanced new encoding features for the Windows Media Video 9 Advanced Profile codec in WMV files. These include:
GUI for many of the new settings
Advanced scaling 10-bit to 8-bit dithering
Segment reencoding (so a section can be reencoded with different settings than the whole clip.It’d definitely a beta at this point, and doesn’t support WME features like live encoding and Intelligent Streaming. We’d appreciate your feedback as we continue to refine it.
