Hello, Just joined the Forums even though I’ve been reading this site for a while.

I was using FCP 6 on my MP G5 and I was waiting to see what Apple was going to release to replace FCP7 with before buy a New Intel MP. So I’ve been using a Windows 7 machine that I built as temp transition computer. Since FCPX is a no go for me. I’ve decided to stay with W7 and PP CS5 which will be using at work as well.

I’m currently tweaking Window7 for Premiere CS5. I’m getting conflicting reports on what to set the Processor Scheduling.

    Programs or Background services?

Programs, definitely, although AFAIK the setting doesn’t affect things all that much on client (non-server) editions of Win7.
