Does anyone know a simple way to order a (Cost-effective) Premiere Pro CS5 compatible computer?

I don’t know anything about motherboards, power supplies, quiet fans etc …

I just want to buy a new computer that will work effectively with Premiere Pro CS5 and not be super expensive, preferably under 2K.

    HELP!!!

    Thanks

Even though we build most of our machines, I think Dell is still as close it get to getting what you want configuration wise, other than going through someone who can custom build for you.

Truly studio quiet (and cool) can get pretty expensive. I am of big fan of the Cosmos 1000 cases (Cooler Master). Great looking, rock solid. and very quiet. But not something you’ll be hauling around without a hand truck. Let me know if you need a rough list of current hardware, I’ll post something. Things do change quickly.

We also build all our own machines, but I would suggest HP or going to a smaller shop that custom builds video workstations.

Its important to work with someone that builds specifically for video work.

On the HP side most of the HP workstations (not desktops!!) should suffice.

You can always come back with more specific questions if you are not certain what to buy.

    Good Luck!
