    Hi There:

Next week I’m pulling the trigger on a now 8 core workstation with either a XP 64 or a Vista 64 operation system.

I know that Premiere will utilize the Nvidia QuadroFX 4600 or 5600 (if I can afford it) to render.

What I want to know is how well Premiere Pro is going to work on a 64 bit system?

Anyone out there having any luck?

    Thanks!

No problems. As long as the components are newer, you shouldn’t encounter any issues.

I did try 64 bits briefly, PPro works just fine, I don’t quite notice much performance enhancements, but again, I just experiment with it briefly. Please report back your experiences.

I run on Vista Ultimate 64 Bit. No issues!
