March 14, 2007 at 12:16 pmWell it ain’t working on Decklink Extreme HD either. Seems weird that this driver would be released when it doesn’t actually appear to work on Vista.

March 14, 2007 at 4:51 pmHello,
Yes it is very strange maybe it was a Vista certified Motherboard that it worked with the Vista 32 bit drivers?
I am going to try a re-install of Vista which I am doing now and going to see any work arounds I can think of to get the Multibridge working. Peter on your install does sound play properly, as mine its glitchy soundinga nd sounds like underwater and the sound being dragged out, when a music cd plays it sounds okay but you can hear little clicks and pops.
I wnat to use Vista but I am afraid I will have to go back to XP, while on XP my mouse lags when editing in Premiere pro, slow import of quicktimes and just general un-stability with Premire Pro and After Effects taking ages to load up and do any basic ram previews. It’s unsual but on Vista is it flying from my initial test.

March 15, 2007 at 1:06 amHi guys,
The drivers were tested on Vista inhouse on multiple systems before they were released and the issues reported were not seen. I would like to work through these issues to find out what exactly is going on.
The only thing to note is that in Vista, there is currently no Extended Desktop support so no additional display will be detected.
Please contact me directly via support [at] blackmagic-design.com. Thanks.

March 15, 2007 at 2:44 amHi Kristian,
As I emailed you and let Leo know, I now have SDI output to external monitor, but only when Premiere is running. A little note in the Readme will solve any more angst for other downloaders unaware of the issue.

March 16, 2007 at 12:14 amI have been dealing with Joshua from Blackmagic tech support USA. He explianed about the non video desktop. However I am now getting weird audio lagging and sounds like clicking when Audio is played back from Windows applications such as Adobe Bridge, Windows Media player.
I tried Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro set up to audio output to Decklink Audio and the sound sounds perfect. So when the decklink settings for audio is not set could it be trying to default to a windows audio device?
Thanks,
Leo

March 16, 2007 at 12:23 amHave you tried checking the ASIO settings in the audio section of Premiere preferences and moving Decklink to the top of the list?

March 16, 2007 at 1:01 amHello,
Yes I made Decklink the output setting in Audition and Premiere Pro and sound is perfect now. It’s just when playing any music in Adobe Bridge or WIndows Media Player the sound is crackling and bad. I think maybe as the Windows is not choosting the Decklink drivers properly in its sound settings?
